FASHION MAGAZINES winteresque SUMMER COVERS & VOGUE PARIS DARIA COVER

I love buying summer editions of fashion magazines most. The truth is I get disappointed about the summer issues most, cause they come along with winter clothings , and no I am not talking about August issues I know most of them put fall season clothing to sell in August issues.
I am mostly talking about June and July issues of the year. May and April can also be called summer editions as they are full of summer collections. Vogue Paris June/July 2015 : Daria Werbowy by David Sims is a good example of winter kind cover in summer. Vogue Paris used and I feel like  I am not a big fan of the styling and the cover doesn't mean summer to me at all. Daria has white background , striking a pose as arms up . They have white backround instead of a nice backround with a view or pool or something. I kind of think they could do better with Daria, I see her on VP as much as I see her on instagram and she’s more like an Isabel Marant girl, I don’t know if VP chooses models from Isabel Marant castings or not. I have some amazing VP magazine issues I bought and saved from previous summers by ALT doing amazing at VP but did not buy any since their Kate Moss cover. It was a dark fierce cover of Kate Moss using her allure.
People ask why Vogue Paris don’t use Karlie Kloss or Joan Smalls, maybe they are very American Vogue faces in every month and Anna Wintour doesn’t share her girls? No way joking! I wish they at least had the amazing Amalfi coast in the backround so we could feel like we search that hashtag on instagram.
I kind of like Vogue Espana and Elle Espana for best summer editions as also Spain is the best travelling and vacation country with great beaches. I have never got a chance to check Brazil editions but they have amazing beaches and hope they shoot amazing summer editorials.
They try so hard to look cool I know its Vogue Paris and they are über cool. I kind of want to see some French Riviera and that boho chic in Vogue Paris, I will check the issue in newsstands and decide if I really want to buy it or not cause content is very important to me not just the cover that sells.

HUNTING FOR ESPADRILLES #summerfeeling

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I will be on honeymoon next week and it will be officially summer for me. I spend most of my times checking espadrilles online and stores. I have no idea what my tendency for espadrilles are. Its weird, its now normal, ı have never been lusting espadrilles like this before. They make the feeling of summer, ocean, sea, seaside, vacation, tan, breeze, free spirit feeling that belongs to vacations.
I checked my favorite store Yargıcı for their über cool and comfty style espadrilles. I tried 2 but did not buy. I was then lusting Kenzo Paris  black suede espadrilles but in 1 week Beymen had the sizes and stocks ran out of stock. It was like so quick. I don’t really know what happened in 1 week and who bought them all. Beymen Blender Nişantası store I checked for what they really have in store. I am lately obssessed with their web page to check out what’s in and what’s on.  I found Kenzo suede black espadrilles and they were 1 size smaller but fitting. I bought them on great price and came home. Then I realized left foot is so tight I can not stand wearing it. I could not even stand for 5 minutes. What was I thinking? Why did I buy them? I wasted my money ! I returned them back the other they saying bye to my long time crush / lemming / wishlist item and unfortunately they have not my size. I also checked Manebi brand espadrilles and they are good Made in Spain ones. But not very known enough to kill my lemming.I checked Valentino espadrilles they were all those perfectly girly shades and quality and amazingly beautiful. I tried Jimmy Choo blue jean espadrilles they were so beautiful. I also tried Yves Saint Laurent studded black espadrilles, they are über cool.
I kind of fell in love with Dolce Gabbana espadrilles they are like an art piece each pair. I kind have a crush on art printed beautiful Dolce Gabbana espadrilles. I dream them , I try them, I want to live in them.this summer.

DENIM FILE

I CAN’T LET GO OF MY SKINNY JEANS
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

According to google bell bottom jeans aka flare jeans and biker jeans are the new black. What to expect when you are expecting? I never ever think (according to Burcu) that skinny jeans can or should be out. Its the most body flattering denim. How dare? And I know Rachel Zoe is a huge fan of Flare denim and I’ve read about this news in The Zoe Report so it makes sense that she lives in Flare Denim why not trending more and more each day. I need to check flare denim in Zara, Mavi, Levis or Mango (Spanish brands should do it better) or maybe splurge from Mih or Paige denim. In flare denim I feel shorter the legs with sneakers so you need high heel wedges to full them off. Skinny jeans goes with everything. Alternative to skinny jeans there’s this biker jeans. I remember a woman with stilettos wearing biker jeans and carrying same shades Burberry bag. She was super sophisticated I felt like an outsider as she walked by. I was at Topshop the other day checking whats in and on sale in the store and I got a huge lost in denim section moment as Hailey Baldwin’s photos were all over – she is the face of Topshop denim. Topshop runs high- waisted jeans and I remember trying them never worked for me. I even tried them at Scandinavian hip brands Weekday, Cheap Monday and Monki, never worked on me. The cut is so 90s I can not feel ok in them. And I kind of don’t like covering my stomach with very high waist jeans.

Think about style icon Kate Moss. She likes to wear skinny jeans alot and she also likes flare jeans that are very 70s and she pulls them off in both styles: rock chic to 70s chic.I live in my skinny jeans despite I am not really very skinny it is my favorite cut.

ALL THOSE COLORS FOR SPRING LAYERING vs BLACK

I am in love with neutral  colours lately. Yesterday at Topshop I saw 2 girls wearing head to toe black, they were doing something so right and stylish I was wondering what went so wrong with my casual style. Then I thought they are too young and trying too hard. One of them had dark brown lipstick the last thing to put on when you are underage. Somewhat sometimes trying so hard works well too. I kind of always thought that people wearing only black are missing something ( or never been to Italy maybe?!) I figure it out like that cause Italians are the using colour experts in styling game and they were ridiculus colours together no matter what season is- and they make those vibrant colours and prints work together blended so well.
Do you remember that in the 2000 millenium BBC special Vogue power Anna Wintour, the super editor was seen previewing a collection by former Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati. “So you’re not really feeling colour, Stefano?” she barks, beadily eyeballing the grey creations being presented for her approval. A defeated-looking Stefano replies, “No, you know, it’s my mood; in winter I never feel so much for colour. It’s more a summer thing for me, frankly...” Narrowing her eyes, Wintour lowers her head disapprovingly, blinks furiously then sighs. I loved that scene and it was totally September issue feeling. This is what I feel for people who only wear black - head to toe and then looks über chic and elegant and has a style. I love the look and how cool being in black layering but on the other hand I have never been ready to say goodbye to other colours. I even like all those pink handbags Paris Hilton was carrying in her 20s. Pink is colour of happiness and I can not let go. I also can not let go neutral shades, gray is my favorite winter colour and I love plums, violets, greens and blues. Print can also make a significant detail of a look, mostly in summer. None of Brits can give up on polka dots right? Its hard. I love Italian fashion houses like Marni and Missoni I can not imagine them release a black and white collection. Missoni tried it abit with famous prints but had never totally gone colour-less or only black. It would be something else but Italian.
I have a tendency to white shade lately using both in summer and winter. In summer it actually works better. In summer white colour also complements bronze skin- if you get the chance for tanning. Still it works with everyone. Since last year I am obsessed with beige – nude shade. Its perfect to combine with other colours and its elegant. I want to have beige sneakers lately. Every shade of beige- nude is welcome.
